SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER
Welcome to Little Learners Preschool. It was so nice to meet all of you and put paces with names. We have just completed our first day of school and already I feel we are in for a really good year. I am looking forward to the next few months together.
The newsletter comes out the first week of every month and will inform you of the monthly activities. We have alot to do every month so jotting down dates on your claendar will be very helpful. If you have a place for easy reference, I will give you some important information.
EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBERS:
The best number to use is my cell phone: 253-740-4193. It will be on the entire time during class sessions. Sometimes we don't get to it on the rings but we will always check messages. If we don't answer, please try again.
The next number is my home phone: 360-825-2353. You can call me anytime about any problems or concerns. Please don't think that you are bothering me; I welcome your call. The best time to reach me is before 8 AM or after 5 PM until about 9:30 PM. This is also the best number to use to reach me on the weekends.
SHOW AND TELL
I have divided the classes in half for purposes of show and tell. By splitting the classes in half some of the children and be doing show and tell ns the other half can be int eh back of teh room in the large muscle area. this enables us to give more attention to the show and tells and also to have more room on the play equipment. Please check the list below to see where your last name falls. your child can bring show and tell every wekk on that day. While I am on the subject of show and tell: favorite toys are fine. Bird nests, color and shape of the month are excellent. The main purpose is to get them talking in front of a group. Also, live animals that may be coming in need to be arranged in advance. Group divisions are as follows:
Monday/Wednesday AM
Mondays: Blakemore through Jonas
Wednesdays: King through Willis
Monday/Wednesday PM
Mondays: Casteel through Sadtler
Wednesdays: Satterthwaite through Watterson
Tuesday/Thursday AM
Tuesday: Bentley through Hickle
Thursdays: johnson through Wicklander
We will keep this schedule all year.
PICK UP
Because of the upcoming bad weather, I would like you to start a pick up line in the parking lot. This avoids the danger of children running out to cars and you don't have to get wet. This line can be accomplished in the following way: please turn into the alley off Myrtle Avenue then loop down in front of the preschool door. As you car comes to the door I will open the car door and put your child in. Then go stright out onto Wells Street. if you have a questions, just pull out of line when all the children have been picked up asn I will come over ans talk to you. This has worked well in teh past and has eliminated "school's out" confusion. i hope everyone knows that they are always welcome in the classroom. It is just for convenience.

PS Payments are due by the 15th of the month. You have paid a registration fee, so the September payment is now due. It is $95 per month.
